Lifescapes

Sociables

With birds almost disappearing from the city skies, don’t you miss their chirping in the mornings? You breathe in all the pollution present in the air from the previous night during morning walks in the city. In sharp contrast to this misery we are drowning in, is Coorg. The golden sunlight trickles through the thick covers of mist, making beautiful patterns in the air! Birds, getting ready to take off for their long day of work, wake you up with their beautiful music. No blaring horns and no noisy neighbors. Mornings in this land are blissful, peaceful and energizing.

Mist in the Morning

A Misty Morning in Coorg

Wake up early, and you can catch some pretty memorable sights! Watching the sun rise through the coffee bushes, and turning from a deep orange to a golden yellow is quite a stunning sight. These golden rays slowly melt the mist away. It’s like watching the curtains drop and seeing the beautiful picture emerge, and then you are allowed to paint your own story!

Walking through the thick mist, you can feel the tiny drops of water play on your skin. The fresh clean air rinses your face, almost purifying your heart and soul. An early morning walk through the plantations fills you with creative energy and gives you the best start to the long day ahead.

Plantation in the morning

A Plantation on a Misty Morning

Some mornings surprise you with some rare sights. If you are lucky, you might spot elephant footprints left by the tusker that visited the plantation the previous night. If there were rains the previous night, you might get to see wild lilies blooming on the pathways. In all their glorious colors they are a welcoming sight. Wild mushrooms are also a common sight after a rainy night!

The mornings following the blossom showers are wonderful. A beautiful bed of white flowers welcomes you, their giddy perfume filling your senses. It’s like the estates are rejoicing, celebrating a festival of nature. Every morning in Coorg is a new experience, a new adventure. It’s the best beginning to your day.

All you city dwellers, huddled in crowded neighborhoods, take a break. Head to Coorg and liven up your day. Experience the beauty of Mother Nature and wake up to beautiful mornings and good beginnings!
